Funeral services for Dorothy Mae Marr, 91, of Bedford, formerly of Quinlan, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 14, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Don Madden and Bro. Gary Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Quinlan.

She passed away Monday night, June 11, 2018, at Legend Healthcare in Euless.

Dorothy was born November 20, 1926, in Floydada, Texas, the daughter of Hugh Alexander, Sr. and Ada Willis Alexander. She was raised in Olton. Dorothy was formerly married to Gavin Marr and later to Lessly Thompson. She lived in Quinlan prior to moving to Bedford four years ago. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, fishing and being outdoors. Dorothy was a member of the Quinlan Church of Christ.

Preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Ada Alexander; two husbands, Gavin Marr and Lessly Thompson; two daughters, Genie Miles and Theresa Hillis; son, Anthony Marr and a great-grandson, Terry Dorety.

Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Deborah Barker, of Como, Belinda Arbuckle & husband, Gerald, of Quinlan and Donnetta Scott & husband, Jim Holley, of Missouri; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
