Funeral services for Dorothy Ann Tidmore, 80, of Kaufman, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 19, 2018, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.  Interment will follow at College Mound Cemetery near Terrell.

She passed away Sunday night, January 14, 2018, in Rowlett.

Dorothy was born August 1, 1937, in Dallas, the daughter of John J. Bandsma and Vicy Underwood Bandsma.  She was raised in Kaufman and graduated from Kaufman High School in 1955.  On May 26, 1960, she married Hiram Tidmore.  Dorothy was formerly employed as a clerk for Kaufman County, retiring in 2000.  She enjoyed raising her dogs, gardening and traveling.  Dorothy was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Kaufman.

Preceded in death by her parents, John and Vicy Bandsma; husband, Hiram Tidmore on January 27, 2014 and a brother, Johnny Bandsma.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Hiram S. Tidmore, II & wife, Teresa, of Terrell and daughter, Kathy Tidmore, of Garland.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to service.
