Douglas McArthur Webb, 81, of Broaddus, Texas, passed away on March 17, 2024. He was born on November 29, 1942, in Moultrie, Georgia, to the late Douglas and Margaret Webb.

Douglas, known for his generosity, kindness, wisdom, and handiness, was a beloved member of his community. He proudly served in the Army. After his military service, he found solace and community at Yellow Ridge Baptist Church and Life Pointe Church in Terrell.

His main love was fishing. Douglas enjoyed keeping up with world news, politics and gardening. He dedicated his time as a Sunday school teacher for adult classes at Greenwood Baptist and Yellow Ridge Baptist Church.

Douglas is survived by his sons, Brian Webb and wife Peggy, Tony Webb and wife Mary, daughter Sally Ruggles and husband Rodger, son-in-law Kevin Rodrigeuz, sister Mary Binder and husband Donald, 21 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Webb, daughter Tammy Rodrigeuz, brother Barney Webb, and sister Violet Webb.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later date. Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas, is assisting with the arrangements.

Douglas McArthur Webb will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
