Earl Francis Clark, a loving husband, father, and friend to all,  passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, in Dallas, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was 94.

Earl was born February 6, 1926, in Wills Point, to Roy and Letha Clark.  Earl graduated from Wills Point High School upon return from serving his country in the Army.  He dearly loved his wife and four daughters, choosing to raise his family near the town he grew up.  Earl loved hunting, fishing, farming, feeding his fish, and traveling. He was a great man of faith.  He loved his church, his family, his country, and the great outdoors. Earl was a deacon at First Baptist Church, involved in Veterans of Foreign Wars, The American Legion, Masonic Lodge, and Bill Glass Prison Ministries.  Earl was a veteran serving at the Battle of the Bulge during World War II.  He enlisted in Ft. Walters, Mineral Wells, Texas, in 1944 and was honorably discharged on August 2, 1945 from Camp Carson, Hospital Center, Colorado.  During his time in the Army, he received many awards, including a Purple Heart for frozen feet.

To cherish his memories, Earl leaves behind a wife of 65 years, Marie Clark; daughters and sons-in-law, Laquita and Buddy Fellers of Edgewood, Jackie and Tommy Foster of Edgewood, Cathy and Brian Cummins of Canton, and Sharon and Rand Melton of Wills Point.  Earl has ten grandchildren, including Jodi (Mark) Bradley, Lance (Carrie) Fellers, Crystal (Kelly) Hawkins, Laura (Brian) Ditto, Summer (Tim) Wilson, Luke (Nikki) Sheppeard, Joshua (Mandy) Melton, Haley (Ricardo) Rios, Jared Melton, and Austin (Ashton) Melton.  An additional 18 great- grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren are a part of this loving family.  Earl is also survived by his sister, Mildred Morgan, niece Pansy Morgan, and nephew Tony (Nancy) Morgan, all from Wills Point.  He is preceded in death by his parents Roy (Tommy) and Letha Clark.
