Edith "Maxine" Reynolds Page, a beloved member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in Farmersville, Texas, at the age of 96. Born on January 31, 1928, in Dialville, Texas, Maxine was the cherished daughter of Jasper Zach Reynolds and Lizzie Belle Kelley Reynolds. She was raised in Dialville and Jacksonville, Texas, and graduated from Dialville High School in the class of 1946.

Maxine spent over 60 years in Wills Point, Texas, where she was a devoted member of the Russell Memorial Methodist Church, actively participating in the church choir and Sunday School classes. Her professional life included dedicated service at Sears Roebuck in Palestine and Dallas, and over two decades at Ben's Mobile in Wills Point, alongside her work at the Sale Barns.

Known for her loving, generous, and thoughtful nature, Maxine found joy in cooking and hosting family gatherings, often visiting her sisters in Jacksonville and Rusk for these cherished occasions.  Maxine loved tending and caring for all of her cats, including the ones in her neighborhood.

Maxine is survived by her daughter, Sheila Barton (Blakey); her grandchildren, Barbie Phillips and Susan Mahmood; her niece, Carolyn Hill Kirby; her nephews, David Thompson and Harvey Lynn Hill; and her sister-in-law, Mabel Reynolds of Abilene, who is 107 years old. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ruth Hill, Wana Whitson, Frieda Hill, Marie Sales, Sue Thompson, and her brother, Forrest Reagan Reynolds.

A memorial service to honor Maxine's life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation one hour prior. Brother David Cartwright will officiate the service. Maxine's legacy of love and kindness will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
