Edith Ann Valentine, 78, of Edgewood, Texas passed away on August 9, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones.

Edith was born on March 4, 1943, in Edgewood, Texas, to the late Floyd and Susan King. She spent all her life in the Edgewood community.  Edith graduated from Edgewood High School in the year of 1961. She married her late husband James Valentine on September 25, 1965, in Rains County. Edith retired from Anderson Nursing Home in 2015. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking.

To cherish her memories, Edith leaves behind her care giver Vanessa Willmon; cousins, Jerry Hoard, Wanda Karr, Polly Norton, Pat Slape, Judi King, Janet Trimble, Doris Lowe, Rita York, Gerald Hoard, Barbara Cole, Lela Seigler, Joyce Wilcox and Sue Dean.

Edith is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Family will be receiving guests for visitation on Thursday, August 12, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral in Wills Point, Texas.
