Obituary

Memorial service for Elaine Prindle, 69, of Garland, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 6, 2019, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Pastor David Cartwright officiating.
She passed away early Monday morning, June 3, 2019, at Baylor Hospital in Dallas.
Elaine was born March 21, 1950, in Wills Point, the daughter of Lloyd Gunter and Valta Dean Blackstock Gunter.  She was raised in Wills Point and later moved to Mesquite, where she attended Mesquite High School.  Elaine married Donnie Lynn Prindle in Wills Point.  She was formerly employed by Raytheon in Dallas, retiring in 2014.  She enjoyed gardening, swimming, watching movies, reading and crafting.  Elaine was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Franklyn & Velma Blackstock and Samuel & Lottie Gunter; father, Lloyd Gunter and husband, Donnie Lynn Prindle.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Jerry Hollis, of Garland; mother, Valta Dean Gunter, of Mesquite; son, Matthew Scott Prindle & wife, Cecillia, of Quinlan; two daughters, Melanie Lynn Williamson & husband, Scott, of Henryetta, Oklahoma and Rachel Prindle, of Ft. Worth; sister, Dwanna Gunter, of Mesquite; five grandchildren, Krista Ogg-Williamson, of Midwest City, Oklahoma, Adrian Loya & wife, Lorena, of Garland, Katelynn Diane Williamson, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, Hunter and Heather Hollis, of Garland; two great-grandchildren, Nadia Angelic Garza, of Brownsville and Elysiahn "Adrian" Loya, of Garland; niece, Sable Gunter, of Mesquite and nephew, Chase Gunter, of Mesquite.
