Elizabeth Alston, 91, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, in Greenville, Texas. Born on October 1, 1933, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, she lived a long and meaningful life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to her family.
Elizabeth was a woman of deep conviction and unwavering kindness. Raised in the Baptist faith, she carried her beliefs with grace throughout her life. Her greatest joy came from raising her daughters—her love for them was unmeasurable. She poured her heart into motherhood with a passion that defined her days and shaped the lives of those around her.
She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Debra Hartman and Linda Diane Alston. Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reuben James Alston; her daughter Lisa Elaine Alston; and her parents.
A woman who found beauty in the simple pleasures of life, Elizabeth had a special fondness for gardening and antiquing. Whether tending to flowers under the open sky or discovering treasures from the past, she found peace and joy in these pursuits. Her love for the outdoors reflected her vibrant spirit and appreciation for nature's quiet gifts.
