Elizabeth Kaye Erwin, 72 of Edgewood, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at her residence.

Elizabeth was born on September 23, 1950, to the late Albert and Grace Chaney in Edgewood. She graduated from Edgewood High School in the year of 1969. She married her beloved husband Rex Erwin on March 6, 1970. Together they shared 52 years of marriage. Elizabeth worked at Tricounty COOP and Terrell State Hospital. She retired from Van Zandt County Shared Services Arrangement in June of 2014. Elizabeth enjoyed Bingo, gambling, and shopping with her daughter. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Elizabeth leaves behind her husband Rex Erwin of Edgewood; son Jed Erwin and wife Meggie; daughter Jammie Erwin Hayes and husband Mark; brother Thomas Chaney; sister Ann Davis; and grandchildren Hallie, Eli, and Rose; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Grace Chaney; sisters, Faye Foster, Bobbie Lay, Joy Davis; and brother Billy Chaney.

Graveside services will be held for Elizabeth Kaye Erwin on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Haven of Memories in Canton, Texas. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com.
