Ella Katherine Jones of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in Grand Saline at the age of 82.

Ella was born in Honey Grove, Texas on August 3, 1938, to the late Thomas and Dessie Gray. She was raised in the Garland area. She lived in Wills Point the last 23 years, moving from Plano. Ella attended Chapel of the Lake Church. She retired from Alkatel in the late 90's. She loved doing cosmetology, anything outdoors, walking her dogs that she adored, knitting, and crocheting.

To cherish her memories, Ella leaves behind her son JR Jones Jr and wife Cathy; grandchildren Crystal Jones, Jeff Jones, Melissa Martin, David Jones, Misty Shawver and Laurie Jones; 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Ella is preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Dessie Gray; brother Morris Gray; sister Claudette Polege; son Roy Jones; grandson David Jones and Ginger the Dog.

Services for Ella Kathryn Jones will be held Friday, July 23, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held following the service at Bright Star Cemetery in Wills Point, Texas.
