Elmer E. Hamilton was born on May 8, 1951, in Wills Point, Texas to the late James and Odell Hamilton. He passed away in Arlington, Texas on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

He received his education in Wills Point, Texas where he lived until 1978. Elmer married Mary Sue Hambric on July 22, 1988 and together they lived in Galveston. Elmer loved talking especially telling stories of younger years with his friends of Wills Point and cracking jokes. He was loved by all who knew him and never met a stranger. Elmer enjoyed BBQing and fishing.

To cherish his memories he leaves behind his loving wife, Mary Hamilton; sons, Derrick Hambric and Jason Hambric; daughters, Tonya Hambrick, Christie White, Tara Hamilton, Elisha Hambric and husband Lafayette Autry; brothers, Sonny Hamilton, Jeff Hamilton and Robert Hamilton; sisters, Mary Lou Hamilton, Patricia Hamilton and Lanesa Hamilton; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, James and Odell Hamilton; sisters, Madel Hamilton and Jeanette Hamilton.

Family will be receiving guest Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home.
