Funeral services for Elsie Marie Hinson, 88, of Hughes Springs, formerly of Wills Point, are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Bill Coffey officiating. Interment will follow at Reilly Springs Cemetery near Sulphur Springs.

She passed away late Sunday night, January 15, 2017, in The Springs Nursing Home in Hughes Springs.

Elsie was born February 26, 1928, the daughter of Walter Clark and Onie Pogue Clark. She was raised in Reilly Springs and graduated from Yantis High School in 1946. She later attended East Field College in Dallas. On April 1, 1960, she married Odis Hinson in Dallas. Elsie was formerly employed as a cook for McDonalds Café in Terrell. She lived in Wills Point for nearly forty years prior to moving to Clarkesville for three years and two years ago moving to Hughes Springs. Elsie was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Elmo, where she taught Sunday School and Children's Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Onie Clark; husband, Odis Hinson on May 25, 2012; brother, Walter Clark and two sisters, Sylia Faye Clark and Shirley Fiddle.

Elsie is survived by two sons, David Glen Moore & wife, Barbara, of Clarkesville and Dennis Wayne Moore, of Dallas; daughter, Dianne Tigert & husband, Johnny, of Dangerfield; brother, Earnest Norwood, of Dallas; sister, Celia Fay Clark, of Dallas; four grandchildren, Daniel Moore, Leslie Tigert, Kandi Moore and Amanda Tigert and two great-grandchildren, Kaleigh Moore and Zoey Tigert.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to service.
