Funeral services for Elsie McDonald, 94, of Wills Point are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Graveside service will follow at 2:30 at Kildare Cemetery in Kildare.

She passed away Friday evening, February 13, 2015 in Sunnyvale.

Elsie was born February 23, 1920, in Jefferson, Texas, the daughter of Gus Hamilton McDonald and Arie Belle Whatley McDonald. She was raised in Jefferson, where she attended public school. Elsie lived in Chandler prior to moving to Wills Point sixteen years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading and dancing. Elsie was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church south of Wills Point.

Preceded in death by her parents, Gus and Arie McDonald; husband, Vernon "Bill" Ausburn on April 19, 2011; son, Donald H. Scott; daughter, Beverly June Corbin and eight brothers and sisters.

Elsie is survived by her daughter, Norma Creed & husband, Don, of Wills Point; son-in-law, Bob Corbin, of Crockett; eight grandchildren, Donna Theresa Timmons, Beverly Beall,
Cheree Lynette Ivy, Karen Lee Workman, James Ray Creed, Jeremy Richard Creed, Renee Israel and Rachel Bauman; twenty great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday morning from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.
