Elvus Louise Faggart, of Edgewood, TX, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at Crestwood Nursing Home in Wills Point, TX, at the age of 93.

Louise was born on June 27, 1926, to Hattie and George Atwood in Oklahoma. She spent her childhood growing up in Oklahoma, 15 years in Garland and being a resident of Edgewood since 1972. She married the love of her life, Leonard Faggart in Frederick, OK, spending 68 years together. Louise adored her family and was equally cherished by them as well. She loved sewing, cooking and was extremely talented when it came to music and singing. She wrote many songs and performed them in front of her church family.

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind her son, Tommy Faggart of Edgewood; daughter, Janice Gowin of Edgewood; grandchildren, Tracey Mannon and husband, Jamie of Forney and Ryan Rutledge of Tulsa, OK; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Allye Mannon; brother, Dan Atwood of Houston, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sisters, Lorraine, Edna and Jo.
