Obituary

Emily Rose Hill, of Winnsboro, TX, passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2020, in Pittsburg, TX, at the age of 79.

Emily was born on February 11, 1941, to Elouise Price Eskue and Oliver lee McCauley in Edgewood, TX. She spent her childhood years being raised in Wills Point, and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wills Point. She also attended Chapel of the Lake. Later in life, she and her daughter, Patsy Rose, moved to Winnsboro. She married her late husband Garvis Ly nn Hill in Quitman, TX. Emily enjoyed sewing, gardening, and painting.

To cherish her memories, she leaves behind her son, Zack Kendrick Kirbo of Tyler, TX; daughters, Patsy Rose Kirbo Arcega of Winnsboro, TX, and Sharon Lynn Hill of Denver, Colorado; sister-in-law, Patsy McCauley of Gilmer, TX; brother, Benny Coon of Wills Point, TX; sister, Lela Coon DeLeon of Wills Point, TX; grandchildren, Jennifer Rose Clakley, Lorena Rose Arcega, and Jasmin Hamilton-Hill; 9 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.

Emily is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Garvis Lynn Hill; brother, Jerry Don McCauley; and brother-in-law, Mondo DeLeon.

A funeral service will be held at Allan Fuller Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at 3:00 PM.

Arrangements are in care of Allan Fuller Funeral Home of Wills Point, Texas.
