Emma Jean Davis, of Sulphur Springs, Texas, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021, at the age of 96.

Emma was born on December 22, 1924 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to the late Grover and Alice Rucker. She was raised in Grand Saline and Sand Flat Area. Living in Wills Point 10 years then moving to Sulphur Springs 23 years ago. She was a member of Church of Christ. Emma married Cleatus "Buck Davis on April 10, 1944. Emma worked and retired from AAFES in 1983. She enjoyed ceramics, doll making, reading her bible and her grandchildren.

To cherish her memories, Emma leaves behind her son Grover Davis and Lynn of Sulphur Springs, TX; daughters, Nancy Yates and Bill of Keller, TX and Wanda Williamson and Gary of Sulphur Springs, TX; brother Manord Rucker of Washington; grandchildren Jeff, Jennifer, Kyle, Lindsey, Cody and Sarah; 9 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Emma is preceded in death by her parents and husband; brothers Maurice Rucker, Carmen "Jack" Rucker, Jerry Ross Rucker and Harold J. Rucker; and sister Laverne Hood.

Service will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home.
