Eunice Werner Fleming was born on November 25, 1925, to Reverend Louis J. and Mrs. Lydia Kinker Werner at Copperas Cove, Texas.
She was baptized and confirmed by her father in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Copperas Cove. She attended Immanuel Lutheran grade school and was a graduate of Copperas Cove High School. She attended a business college in Dallas and worked in the accounting field. For many years she also served as a church organist at Hope Lutheran and Trinity Lutheran in Dallas.
On August 1, 1952, she was married to William Hollis Fleming. They lived in Dallas for 40 years and enjoyed traveling throughout the United States.
Eunice also lived in Greenville and in Rockwall. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Wills Point and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Rockwall.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers- Victor, Elmer, and Harold Werner; and a sister, Marie Werner.
Survivors are two nieces: Margaret Berger and husband George, Carolyn Whitehead and husband Danny; one nephew John Werner and wife Karen; two great nieces Monica Cox and husband Mark, Lisa Catravas and husband Jimmie; and three great-great nephews Aiden Catravas, Andrew Cox, and George Cox.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. Arrangements are under the care of Allan Fuller Funeral Home of Wills Point, Texas. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
