Graveside service for Evelyn Maxine Loving, 89, of Wills Point is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away Wednesday night, September 21, 2016, in Sunnyvale.
Evelyn was born on July 1, 1927 in Dallas, the daughter of Jesse J. Dyess and Evvie Lee Craft Dyess. She was raised in Dallas and graduated from Sunset High School. On August 5, 1946, she married Elmer J. Loving in Lufkin. Evelyn was employed by various companies as a bookkeeper. In 1991, she retired from Pritchett's Jewelry Casting Company in Terrell. Prior to moving to Lake Tawakoni in 1970, she lived in Dallas. Evelyn enjoyed working crossword puzzles in ink, watching NASCAR racing, feeding her cats and birds and taking care of her dog, Chico. She loved her family very much, especially her grandson, Matthew. Evelyn was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Evvie Dyess; husband, Elmer J. Loving on November 28, 2005; brother, Jesse E. Dyess; two sisters-in-law, Myrl Temple and Inez Craft & husband, George.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Kathy Collier & husband, Richard, of Wills Point; brother, Jack Dyess, of Ft. Worth and a grandson, Matthew Collier, of Wills Point.
Family will receive friends at the funeral Home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
