Florence E Creed, 78, of Wills Point, Texas went to be with the lord on Thursday July 6, 2023. She was born on September 19, 1944, in Fruitvale, Texas to Otis and Ernestine Rashell.

She was a resident of Wills Point for 78 years. Was of the Baptist faith and attended the Locust Grove Baptist Church.  She enjoyed her past time riding horses, gardening, bird watching while swinging on a swing outside.  Her most treasured and precious memories were cooking and spending time with her family.

Florence married the love of her life, Lewis Creed Sr., in October in Dallas, Texas, where he preceded her in death on November 18, 1999.

Florence graduated from ETSU with a bachelor's degree and received her master's degree from UTA.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Creed Sr.; sister, Louise Knight; brothers, Thomas Rashell and David Rashell; daughter, Patricia Lynn Creed.

Florence leaves behind two sons, Lewis Creed Jr., Matthew Creed and husband Angel; Three daughters, Debbie Lee and husband Victor, Elizabeth Tucker and Samantha Fruin. Three sisters, Linda Price, Judy Price and husband Lawrence, and Virginia Carter.  Seven grandchildren, Kelvin Tucker, Crystal Miller, Taylor Creed, CJ Thomas, Tricia Creed, Cristina Creed and Christopher Creed along with 15 Great-Grandchildren.

Services will be held in the chapel at Mullin Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point on Saturday July 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
