White
November 22, 1943 – January 23, 2020
Forrest White, a long-time resident of Wills Point, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones at his home on January 23, 2020.
Forrest was born on November 22, 1943, to Jettie Cockrell and Roy White. He graduated from Edgewood High School in the 1960's. Forrest married his wife Wanda on February 23, 1972. He owned Forrest Roofing Services and retired in 2012. Forrest enjoyed working, gardening, and spending time with his kids and grandchildren.
To cherish his memory, he leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Wanda White; children, Tracy White of Wills Point, James White and wife, Vickie of Edgewood; grandchildren, Justin Wilson and wife Jazz of Allen, Kelsey White and Troy Reynolds of Denton, Bryce White of Wills Point, Kara White of Oregon, and Joelie White of Edgewood; step grandchildren, Earl Kirkland and Nick Kirkland of Edgewood; great grandson, Jaxx Caiden Wilson of Allen and a baby girl due in March; brother, Fritz White and wife Kitty of Edgewood; sisters, Essie Green of Dallas and Glenda Bunch of Terrell; brother-in-law, Bobby Garner and wife, Ann of Wills Point; sisters-in-law, Judy Hipp of Wills Point and Franceen Parker and husband James of Rockwall. Also, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jettie Cherry Cockrell; father, Roy James White; daughter, Lisa White; brothers, Ocie White and JW White; sister, Esther Wilson; mother-in-law, Erma Garner Sloan; and father-in-law, Wilborn Garner; step father-in-law, Herbert Sloan; brothers-in-law, Leon Hipp, Glen Garner, Sidney Garner; and sister-in-law, Susie Baker.
The family of Forrest will be receiving guests one hour prior to the funeral service at Noon on Monday, January 27, 2020. The funeral service will be held at Allan Fuller Funeral Home at 1:00pm on Monday, January 27, 2020, officiated by Reverend Glen Goodson, under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas.
