Funeral services for Frances Griffith, 92, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Paul Bailey officiating. Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park in Dallas.

She passed away Tuesday morning, March 3, 2015, in Wills Point.

Frances was born January 14, 1923, in Dallas, Texas, the daughter of Claude Hilman Acker and Cora Lee Dodd Acker. She was raised in Dallas, where she attended school. On December 30, 1939, she married Clifford Eugene Griffith in Dallas. They moved to Wills Point in 1972. Frances enjoyed traveling with the AARP group out of Canton, china painting, sewing, and gardening. She was a caregiver to some special ladies over the years and that continued on even after she went into the nursing home. Frances was of the Baptist faith.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Griffith on April 26, 2008; four brothers, Joe Acker, Bob Acker, Claude Acker and Morris Sheppard Acker and a sister, Margaret Acker Hines.

Frances is survived by three daughters, Janet Kay Griffith Gilmore, of Wills Point, Carol Gene Griffith Brewer & husband, Ricky, of Wills Point and Donna Leatha Griffith Rice, of Richardson; sister, Virginia Lee Carrigan Norwood, of Kemp; two brothers-in-law, Clarence Griffith, of Dallas and Weldon Griffith, of Dallas; sister-in-law, Wanda, of Dallas; eight grandchildren, Jodi, Jim, Laura, Dainon, Jason, Leatha, April and Clifford; fourteen great-grandchildren, Emily, John Jr., Dylan, Darcy, Cameron, Chandler, Caroline, Abbey, Alex Giles, Courtney, Dahlia, Lily, Connor and Poppy; great-great granddaughter, Kate; numerous nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
