Gary Lee Shuford, of Terrell, Texas passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the age of 69.

Gary was born on March 29, 1952 to the late Garland and Nell Shuford in Valdese, North Carolina. He was raised in Valdese. He married his beloved wife Deborah Smith on June 3, 1987 in Rockwall. Together they lived in Wills Point moving to Terrell 14 years ago. Gary and his wife were founding members of Trinity Baptist Church. Gary worked for Steve Silver Company for 10 years and retired from Hub Group in November 2020. He enjoyed mowing the lawn, could fix anything mechanical, playing guitar and watching tv.

To cherish his memories, Gary leaves behind his wife Deborah Shuford of Terrell; sons, Jerome Cantrell of Mesquite and Chace Cantrell of Terrell; daughters, Kelly Shue of Ennis, Tammy Valdez and Johnny Ray of Ennis, Bobbi Callaway and Craig of Celina, Stacey Orms and Brent of Terrell, Sage Snyder and Daniel of Terrell, Grace Cantrell of Terrell and Savannah Cantrell of Terrell; sister Nina Dodgen and Jr Dale of North Carolina; brothers, Richard Shuford and Vicky of Ft. Worth and Barry Shuford of North Carolina; 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 12, 2021at 2: 00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church.
