Funeral Mass for Geraldine Mae Kyser, 81, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday morning, October 26, 2018, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell with Rev. James P. Orosco officiating. Interment will follow at College Mound Cemetery near Terrell under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Tuesday morning, October 23, 2018, in Wichita Falls.
Geraldine was born April 7, 1937, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Randall Clarence Swank and Maxine Helen Daily Swank. She was graduated from Daingerfield High School and later received an Associates Degree from Eastfield College in Mesquite. On December 17, 1955, she married James Harold Kyser in Daingerfield. Geraldine was a homemaker and in her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, reading, cooking, genealogy and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church in Terrell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Maxine Swank and husband, James H. Kyser on October 21, 2014.
Geraldine is survived by a son, Jeffrey Kyser, of Mesquite; three daughters, Jennifer Ann Springer & husband, Greg, of Mesquite, Jayne Thomas & husband, Buddy, of Burkburnett and Jayneen Rodriguez & husband, Danny, of Forney; two brothers, Larry Swank & wife, Karen, of Maryland and Sonny Swank & wife, Heidi, of California; sister, Alyce Bryan & husband, Watt, of Spartanburg, S.C.; thirteen grandchildren, Nicholas, Patrick, Katie, Juliana, Andrew, Sarah, Rebecca, Daniel, Jacob, Maegan, Gabrielle, Lyndsey and Laci; seventeen great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 7:00 with the Rosary starting at 6:00.
