Graveside service for Geraldine Mae Tyler, 86, of Weatherford, formerly of Wills Point, is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at White Rose Cemetery in Wills Point with Pastor Adam Williams officiating. Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.
She passed away early Saturday morning, August 8, 2015 in Ft. Worth.
Geraldine was born August 18, 1928, in Abilene, the daughter of Andrew Jerd White and Sally Mae Jones White. She was raised in Abilene and in 1945, she graduated from Abilene High School. On May 18, 1946, she married Jesse Craig Tyler in Abilene. Geraldine was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company in Abilene for over thirty years, retiring in 1975. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Geraldine lived in Abilene prior to moving to Wills Point in 1990. For the past five years she has lived in Weatherford. Geraldine was a member of Lakeview Church at Lake Tawakoni.
Preceded in death by her parents, Jerd and Sally White; husband, Jesse Craig Tyler on December 3, 2000 and a brother, Roy White.
Geraldine is survived by her son, Jimmy Tyler & wife, Jeane, of Weatherford; daughter, Linda Donahoo & husband, Nelson, of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina; two grandsons, Philip A. Donahoo & wife, Amy, of Wake Forest, North Carolina and Mark A. McGlaun, of Dallas; four great-grandchildren, Tanner Donahoo, Hayden Donahoo, Makenzie McGlaun and Andrew McGlaun.
