Funeral services for Gracie Lou Galla, 76, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Billy Smith and Pastor Doug Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Grand Saline.
She passed away early Tuesday morning, October 10, 2017, in Wills Point.
Gracie was born April 9, 1941, in Denton, the daughter of John Allen Ellis and Ruth Beatrice Medlin Ellis. She was raised in Lake Dallas, where she attended public school. On November 27, 1965, she married James Ray Galla in Lake Dallas. Gracie was formerly employed as a claims adjuster for Central Mutual Insurance Company in Irving, where she retired. She lived in Irving prior to moving to Wills Point twenty-two years ago. She enjoyed getting on the computer, cooking, and going to Church. Gracie was a member of Corinth Missionary Baptist Church in Grand Saline.
Preceded in death by her parents, John Allen and Ruth Beatrice Ellis; four brothers, Johnny Howard Ellis, Thomas Riley Ellis, Jimmy Ray Ellis and Bobby Lee Ellis; three sisters, Billie Louise Hill, Peggy Ruth Ellis and Margie Adlene Ellis and a daughter-in-law, JoLynn Galla.
Gracie is survived by her husband, James Galla, of Wills Point; three sons, Jimmy Ray Galla, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Kenneth Howard Galla and Missy DeLosSantos, of Ft. Worth and Kevin Wayne Galla & fiancée, Jennifer Williford, of Frisco; two brothers, Marvin Ellis & wife, JoElla, of Copper Canyon and David Wyatt Ellis & wife, Barbara, of Denton; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 1:00–2:00 p.m.
