Grady Mack Oldfield, of Canton, TX, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, in Kaufman, at the age of 90.

Grady was born on August 8, 1929, to Lucille and Floyd Oldfield in Whitton Community. He spent his youth growing up in Whitton. Grady decided to serve our country and join the Navy shortly after high school.  In 1951, he married the love of his life, Joyce Dodson, and moved to Mesquite. Together, the couple decided to build a lake house in Cedar Creek, then living out the rest of his days in Canton.  Grady worked for Lovefield Airport in Dallas for 40 years, retiring in 1989. He loved being on his tractor, spending many hours outside enjoying every minute of mowing. He enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. Grady loved donating to worthy causes and most importantly spending time with his grandchildren.

To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his wife of 68 years, Joyce Oldfield of Canton; sons, Michael Floyd and Robert Steven; daughter, Sherri Oldfield; grandchildren, Lindy "Like a Son" Von Morris  and Jessica, Saxon Adams, and Michaela Redding; great grandchildren, Haven Morris and Lindyn Morris; many nieces, nephews, relatives, and a host of friends.

Grady is preceded in death by his parents, brother-in-law, Lewis Pulley; sisters, Faye Pulley and Betty Parker; niece, Susie Pulley, and brother, Junior Oldfield.

A funeral service will be held at Allan Fuller Funeral Home on Saturday, February 29, 2020, at 10:00 AM, with a visitation one hour prior.
