Obituary

Harold "Wayne" Krantz, 91, passed away on March 5, 2025, in Wills Point, Texas.

Wayne was born on February 27, 1934, in Monette, Arkansas, to Vernon Krantz and Stella Modene Rush. A proud veteran of the United States Navy, he served from August 1951 to February 1955 and was awarded the United Nations Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal in recognition of his dedication and service.

Following his military career, Wayne became a self-employed truck driver, working diligently until his retirement in 1995. His strong work ethic and determination were evident throughout his career and personal life.

Wayne found great joy in farming and gardening, spending countless hours tending to the land with care and dedication. His love for working with his hands extended beyond his hobbies—he was known for being handy and always willing to lend a helping hand. His friendly nature made him a cherished presence among those who knew him.

A man of Christian faith, Wayne lived with kindness and integrity, values that he carried into every aspect of his life.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Krantz; daughter Kelli Krantz Hulsman and her husband Dave; grandchildren David Hulsman, Joshua Hulsman, Jacob Hulsman, and Noah Hulsman; and great-grandchildren Mason, Matthew, Alexander, and Cassius. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son Jerry Lynn Krantz.

Wayne's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. May he rest in peace.
