Harry "Gene" Ledford, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on November 9, 2020, at the age of 78.

Gene was born on April 20, 1942 in Orlando, Florida to the late Harry and Nell Ledford. He grew up in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Gene married Carolyn Smith on June 18, 1966. He and his wife moved to Wills Point, Texas in 1997. Gene was a highway patrol pilot in Wyoming and worked for Wyoming game and fish as a pilot, retiring from ABF Freight lines in 2009. He enjoyed gardening, doing crossword puzzles, watching tv, playing on his cell phone and being a collector of various items.

To cherish his memories, Gene leaves behind his wife Carolyn Ledford of Wills Point, Texas; son Aaron Ledford and wife Jennifer of Louisville, Tennessee; daughter Rhonda Shinn and Mike of Cheyenne, Wyoming; sisters, Melanie Faith of Shaumburg, Illinois, Carol Arrowwood of Ashville, North Carolina, Rosemary Garcia and Ted of Cheyenne, Wyoming; granddaughter Brianna Best and Leonardo Lima of Cheyenne, Wyoming; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents.

Family will be accepting guests, Friday, November 13, 2020, from the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com
