Helen Joyce Garrett, of Edgewood, Texas passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at the age of 74.

Joyce was born on November 3, 1946 in Fort Scott, Kansas to the late Robert and Helen Owens. She was raised in Wichita, Kansas. Joyce married Bobie Garrett on August 29, 1964. The two of them moved from Kaufman to Edgewood in 1976. She was a member of the Hayden Baptist Church. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed her daily phone call to Liz Ellis.

To cherish her memories, Joyce leaves behind her son Frank Garrett and Stephen Harding of Dallas, TX; daughters, Brenda Morris and Tony of Edgewood, TX and Becky Holland and Richard of Canton, TX; half sister Regina Owens of California; grandchildren, Jasper Carista and Misty, Melissa Bullara and Anthony, Tim Carista and Niki, Felisha Maldonado and Mo; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Michael, Gabe, Lexi, Carson, Charlie, Olivia, Lizzy, JoJo, Elijah, Zane and Hendrix.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bobie Garrett, brother Robert Owens and 5 half sisters.

Funeral service will be held Monday, March 1, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be held at Ellis Chapel. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
