Departed on Mar. 2, 2015 and resided in Wills Point, TX.

Funeral services for Helen Marie Schkade, 70, of Wills Point, formerly of Farmersville, are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2015, at First United Methodist Church in Farmersville with Rev. Rick Ballard officiating. Interment will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, at Breckenridge Cemetery in Breckenridge under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Monday night, March 2, 2015, in Greenville.

Helen was born July 28, 1944, in Cisco, Texas, the daughter of William Roy Jones and Ruby Dell Adams Jones. She was raised in Breckenridge, where she attended public school. She was married to Marvin J. Schkade for thirty-three years and following their divorce, they remained friends. Helen was employed by the Farmersville I.S.D. as a credit recovery teacher, retiring in January 2011. She loved being involved in sporting events for school, especially attending her grandkids school activities and going out with her friends. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, going to the Opera House in Farmersville, and eating soft shell crabs. Helen was a member of the Farmersville Booster Club and was of the Lutheran faith.

Preceded in death by her parents, William Roy Jones and Ruby Dell McPherson; three brothers, Harold Jones, Bobby Jones and Joe Jones and two sisters, Toy Alene Allday and Kay Stockton.

Helen is survived by two sons, Steve Schkade & wife, LeaAnn, of Garland and Ben Schkade & wife, Amy, of Farmersville; daughter, Angie Schkade & Patrik, of Wills Point; two sisters, Edna Portwood, of Breckenridge and Lavern Tedford & husband, Lonnie, of Weatherford; six grandchildren, Derrick Schkade, Kris Schkade, Makaelea Schkade, Laramie Schkade, Larson Schkade and Jace Daniel and her four-legged grandbabies, Pete, Coco and Rebels.
