Herbert Sterlin Wood, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on October 12, 2020, in Greenville, Texas.

Sterlin was born to Herbert and Janie Wood in Atlanta, Texas, on March 14, 1954. He retired from McLeod Electric as an electrician in 2012. Sterlin was enlisted in the Air Force for a short period of time. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collected guns and knives. Loved pawn shops and classic cars.

To cherish his memories, he leaves behind his mother, Janie Wood of Wills Point, Texas; sister in law, Kathy Wood of Wills Point; nephews, Scott Wood and Justin Wood and niece Katrina Emerson; along with numerous great nieces.

Sterlin is preceded in death by his dad, wife Dianne and brothers John Wood and Stanford Wood.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
