Visitation service for Homer Lee "Buck" Taylor, 78, of Terrell, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 5, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point.
He passed away Sunday night, June 28, 2015, at his residence in Terrell.
Buck was born August 1, 1936, in Dallas, Texas, the son of Aaron Alee Taylor and Virginia Cleo Gooch Taylor. He was raised in Dallas, where he attended public school. On April 18, 1958, he married Carrie Takats in Dallas. Buck was a union painter and was employed by Shahan & Sons in Dallas and retired from JC Martin in Dallas in 1998. Buck lived in Mesquite prior to moving to Terrell in 1998. He enjoyed building things, trains, art painting, watching Humphrey Bogart movies and drinking Jim Beam.
Preceded in death by his parents, Aaron Alee "George" Taylor and Virginia Taylor and his wife, Carrie Taylor.
Buck is survived by two daughters, Liz Limoges & husband, Russell, of Terrell and Caroline Rollins & husband, Chris, of Mesquite; five grandchildren, Lee Limoges, Glen Limoges & wife, Amanda, Eva Limoges, Jeff Limoges and Taylor Rollins and two cats, Bucky and Scrambles.
In lieu of flowers, Buck would prefer you raise a glass and toast his life with friends and family.
