Funeral services for Howard Thomas Coe, 87, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Bro. Ken Hackney officiating. Interment will follow at Dunbar Cemetery near Emory.
He passed away Saturday morning, July 1, 2017, in Kaufman.
Howard was born March 10, 1930, in Kosoma, Oklahoma, the son of J. A. and Maggie Coe. He was raised in Oklahoma and later moved to Dallas. On May 30, 1959, he married Mary Frances Forbis in Kilgore. Howard was formerly employed by Dallas Aeromotor and later was a self-employed barber in Dallas, retiring in 1995. Prior to moving to Wills Point in 1968, he lived in Dallas. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing. Howard was a member of The Baptist Men and Chapel of the Lake.
Preceded in death by his parents, J. A. and Maggie Coe; wife, Mary Frances Coe on March 26, 2014; four brothers; two sisters; daughter-in-law, Carla Coe and a granddaughter, Michelle Reese.
Howard is survived by two sons, David L. Yancey & wife, Linda, of Wills Point and Thomas Milton Coe, of Dallas; thirteen grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
