Obituary

Jack Samuel "Scooter" Harrington, Jr., age 59, of Tyler, Texas, passed away on May 6, 2024. He was born on March 27, 1965, in Mesquite, Texas.

He had a passion for baseball, especially the Texas Rangers, and was known for his extensive knowledge of players' stats and team information. In his free time, Jack enjoyed delving into genealogy and discovering his family history. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his loved ones.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Pamela Harrington, married on September 27, 1986; his mother, Judy Ann Carter; his two sons, Ryan Harrington and Joshua Casey; his daughter, Nancy Jo Barker, and son-in-law Phillip; his brother, Mike Harrington, and sister-in-law Tammy; his sisters, Misty Jensen, Ashley Powell and husband Rob, Rhonda Huggins and husband Gary, and Robin Bratton and husband David. Along with numerous of nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack "Sammy" Harrington, Sr.; his grandparents, John and Jo Harrington, Robert and Lucile Carter; his brother-in-law, Paul Ely, and niece, Cheyenne Ely.

A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at Victory Baptist Church, Terrell, Texas, on May 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.  The family is requesting for all attendees to dress casually, and wear Texas Rangers attire The Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
