Obituary

James Andrew Harmon, 90, of Wills Point, Texas went to his heavenly home on May 17, 2023.

James was born on March 15, 1933, to Cecil L Harmon and Wanna V. Akens in Lindale, Texas . James was a member of Church of Christ in Wills Point. James married the love of his life, Gloria Jean Harmon, on February 12, 1953. James was employed by Republic National Bank in Dallas, Texas where he retired in 1987. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, hunting, reading, and traveling to the coast. James served on the MacBee Special Utility Water District board of directors. His grandkids were the light of his life!

To cherish his memories, James left behind his son, Jimmy Harmon and Jennifer Brewington of Rockwall; grandchildren, Lacey Harmon (Jeff Johnson) and Ethan Harmon; great-grandchildren, Haley Cohee, Isabella Grace, and Avah Johnson; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, sons: Douglas Harmon and Gregory Harmon; brothers: C.W. Harmon and Lawrence R. Harmon; and Sisters: Ollie Mae Odum, Thelma Jean, and Wanda Harmon

We will remember his life with family and friends on Monday, May 22, 2023, at 10:00AM. at the Church of Christ in Wills Point, Texas

Graveside services will be held in Irving, Texas, at Oak Grove Memorial Garden at 1:00PM on Monday, May 22, 2023.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wills Point Church of Christ.

Arrangements are under the care of Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas.
