James Edward Aycock, 83, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on July 11, 2023, in Henderson, Texas.

James was born in Dallas, Texas on July 26, 1939, to the late Curtis E Aycock and Estelle L. Jones.  He was raised in Daingerfield prior to moving to Wills Point in 1975.

He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the First Baptist Church.  James married the love of his life Jackie E Bewley on November 19, 1992, in Kilgore, Texas.

James was employed at Frito-Lay and retired from AC Horn & Company.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating.  He enjoyed working and could build anything.

He is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

He leaves behind his wife Jackie, two sons: Vance Aycock and wife Shirley of Tatum and Paul Aycock and wife Sandy of Colorado; two grandsons, James and Ethan; great-granddaughter Sadie.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Wills Point at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Wills Point or East Texas Meals on Wheels.
