James Wayne Balkcom, 45 of Forney, Texas passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022.

James was born on June 10, 1977, to Bobby and Lynda Bates Balkcom in Clarkesville, Arkansas where he was also raised. He married his wife Audrey (Nikki) Melton on February 1, 2002. Together they moved to Forney where they lived the last 17 years. He worked as a Truck Driver at Brass Craft for 18 years. James enjoyed working on cars, games and being with his family.

James leaves behind his wife Nikki Balkcom of Forney; mother Lynda Bates of Arkansas; sons, Cameron Melton of Forney and Collin Balkcom of Forney; daughter Melissa Balkcom of Forney; sister Brandy Ritchie of Arkansas; grandchildren, Jaxon James Adams and Lyra Jade Melton; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

James is preceded in death by his father Bobby Balkcom.

Services will be held for James Wayne Balkcom on Monday, December 12, 2022 at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home at 11am. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation. Online condolences may be made at mullinfullerfuneralhome.com .
