Funeral services for James Crow, 75, of Wills Point are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Rev. Jimmy Sheppard officiating.
He passed away Saturday night, January 3, 2015, at his residence in Wills Point.
James was born May 4, 1939, in Terrell, Texas, the son of James Henry Crow and Rachel Susan Brown Crow. He was raised in Terrell, where he attended public school. On January 17, 1998, he married Netta Faye Earnheart in Wills Point. James was a self-employed truck driver, retiring from Wolfe Industries in the mid 1980's. After retirement, he started a catering business and restaurant, the Lilly Pad. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and having fish fry's. James lived in Terrell prior to moving to Wills Point fifteen years ago. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Willie Crow; sister, Ethel Morrison; son, Gary Crow and a daughter, Lisa Langley.
James is survived by his wife, Netta Crow, of Wills Point; two sons, James Dwayne Crow & wife, Ladonna, of Terrell and Gene Baumgartner, of Terrell; two daughters, Teresa Kay Langley & husband, Lee, of Terrell and Charlene Kyser & husband, Dick, of Terrell; six brothers, Horace Crow & wife, Betty, Lloyd Crow, Loy Crow & wife, Louise, Harold Crow & wife, Corine, Jerry Crow & wife, Patsy and Billy Ray Crow & wife, Sherion; three sisters, Laverne McManus, Betty Jo Pate and Melba Willis & husband, Lindon; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
