Obituary

James Adrian Hankins, 81, passed away Sunday November 13, 2022 at his home in Wills Point, Texas.
He was born June 1, 1941 to the late Leon and Mable Hankins in Monticello, Arkansas and lived there until he graduated from Monticello High School. Following graduation, he proudly served in the US Navy where he specialized in radar and electronics. until he was honorably discharged. While in the Navy he attended Bakersfield Junior College. He moved to Wills Point in 1980 and opened Blue Bird Cabinets until he retired in 2006.
He loves hunting, fishing, gardening ,woodworking and working with his hands.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Mable and a sister, Bobbie Rose Ferguson.
He leaves behind daughters Victoria Hamilton, her husband Billy and Adrianne Danser, her husband Rick. His grandchildren Alyssa Smith, Morgan Harris, Kylee Smith, Meredith Edwards, Justin Edwards, Donovan Edwards. His great grandsons, Kason Michael Smith and Austyn Dean Harris. His sister, Jeanette Phelps. Multiple nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point on Friday November 18,2022 from 2-4 pm . He chose cremation so there will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the Veterans Affairs.
