James Lynn Hatley, 75, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away on March 10, 2022, in Dallas, Texas.

James was born on December 26, 1946, in Dallas, Texas, to the late Mancel and Sudie Hatley. He was raised in Dallas moving to Wills Point in 1991. James was a member of the Elwood Baptist Church. He loved rodeo, horses, and spending time with his grandchildren.

James is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dub Hatley, Bobby Hatley, and Joe Hatley; great-granddaughter RyLynn Grace Hatley.

James leaves behind his sons Jim and wife Stephanie Hatley of Wills Point and David and wife Alisha Hatley of Wills Point; brothers, Harold Hatley of Lone Oak and Charles Hatley of Midlothian; grandchildren, Cody and wife Jessie Hatley, Cayci Hatley and Jeff Sprague, Colt Hatley and Ty Hatley; great-grandchildren, Elliana Hatley, Waylon Sprague and Cove Sprague; along with many other loving relatives and friends.
