Graveside service for Edra Jan Davis Meek, 66, of Edgewood, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Edgewood with Pastor Chuck Hinton officiating.  Services are under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point.

She passed away Tuesday night, October 23, 2018, in Sunnyvale.

Jan was born March 12, 1952, in Grand Saline, the daughter of Thomas Edward Davis and Doris Jean Vance Davis.  She was raised in Edgewood and attended Edgewood High School.  Jan was married to Douglas Foster for eighteen years and later married John Meek.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading and loved birds.  She lived in Edgewood most of her life and was a member of the Edgewood Church of God.

Preceded in death by her dad, Tommy Davis; step-dad, Joe Grier; brother, Tommy Lynn Davis; sister, Deborah Nell Fletcher; step-sister, JoAnne Grier; daughter, Rebecca Jan Hudson and a grandson, Josiah Meek.

Jan is survived by her mother, Doris Jean Grier, of Edgewood; two sons, Chad Foster, of Edgewood and Ivan Meek & wife, Marcellina, of Edgewood; three daughters, Leah Cherry & husband, Danial, of Edgewood, Lyndsay Hayes & husband, Joshua, of Edgewood and Amanda Meek, of Edgewood; brother, Mark Davis, of Edgewood; step-brother, Ricky Grier, of Grand Saline; thirteen grandchildren, Brandon Foster, Brooke Foster, Clayton Foster, Jana Bishop, Murphy Cherry, Nicole Cherry, Ronnie Tull, Dustin Tull, Eryn Hayes, Austin Hayes, Zeke Meek, Zech Meek and Lily Meek; thirteen great-grandchildren.
