Jerry Ed Bodin, 77, of Wills Point, went peacefully to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 6, 2019, surrounded by his family. A celebration of Jerry's life is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2019 at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Mr. Norm Dace and Pastor Rick Linebarger officiating. Interment will follow at Elmo Cemetery in Elmo.
Jerry was born October 23, 1941, in Wills Point, the son of Henry Ed Bodin and Viola Smith Bodin. He was raised in Wills Point and was a graduate from Wills Point High School in 1959. Jerry joined the United States Army and served his country four years. On December 24, 1962, he married his childhood sweetheart, Marchita Berry. Jerry was owner/operator of Bodin Trucking, until he retired in 2014. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Terrell. Jerry loved sports, race cars and watching westerns.
Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Viola Bodin and a brother, Perry Ed Bodin.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Marchita Bodin, of Wills Point; son, Eddie Wayne Bodin & wife, Linda Gail, of Paris, Arkansas; two daughters, Vicki Leo Stout & husband, Jeffrey Alan, of Dallas and Debbie Blackmon & husband, Bill, of Wills Point; sister, Gayle Terrell, of Whitesboro; eight grandchildren, Kristal Attaway & husband, Jason, Blake Leo & wife, Macey, Michelle Leo, Kristin Rogers & husband, Russell, Casey Bodin, Jarred Wayne Bodin & wife, Christina, Marchita Nicole Camacho & husband, Eddie and Tommy Jake Ebarb & wife, Panda and ten great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
