Jerry Phillip Trimble, born August 26, 1941, in Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas, passed away on November 3, 2026, at Christus Trinity Mother Frances - Sulphur Springs.
Jerry will be remembered as an adventurous, courageous, and loving man whose life was marked by devotion to his family and a spirit that embraced both work and the things he enjoyed most. He was a graduate of McKinney High School, Class of 1959, and went on to serve as a Regional Sales Manager at Rogersol Chemical in Chicago. His professional life reflected dedication and commitment, and those who knew him also knew the warmth and strength of character he brought to every part of his life.
Outside of work, Jerry found joy in flying his planes, gardening, and RV traveling. These interests reflected his love of discovery, his appreciation for the simple rewards of time well spent, and the adventurous nature that defined him. Whether in the air, tending a garden, or traveling the open road, he lived with energy and purpose.
Above all, Jerry cherished his family. He is survived by his wife, Janet Trimble; his children, Dr. Rodney Trimble and Dr. Charles Macias, Kevin Trimble and wife Bonny, and Melina Dryden; his brother, Kenneth Trimble; and his sisters, Jan Fry, Janet Lane, and Kathy McDaniel. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Breanna Duty, Dustin Roach and wife Tayona, Devin Thompson, Alissa Thompson, Jacob Macias, and Rachel Macias, as well as his great-grandchildren, Harley, Haven, Dawson, Blayze, and Rebel. The love shared by Jerry and Janet with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren remains a lasting part of his legacy and will continue to be carried forward by the family he treasured so deeply.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Trimble; his mother, Velma Venable; his brother, Richard Trimble; Beckey Trimble; his great-granddaughter, Chesney Duty; and his son-in-law, Dennis Dryden.
Jerry Phillip Trimble’s life was one of love, courage, and enduring family bonds. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
