Obituary

Funeral services for Jerry Wayne White, 72, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2017, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point. Interment will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton.

He passed away Friday, September 8, 2017, in Athens.

Jerry Wayne was born on November 20, 1944, in Frederick, Oklahoma, the son of Lloyd White and Evalee Avery White. He was raised in Frederick, where he attended public school. In 1979, he moved to Wills Point. On August 23, 1983, he married Jo Ann Adams. Jerry Wayne was formerly employed by Pike Construction, Hemphill Construction and was a self employed carpenter in Wills Point. He enjoyed making things with his hands and collecting "treasures". He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Evalee White; wife, Jo Ann White on August 17, 2010; son, Jody White; two brothers and two sisters.

Jerry Wayne is survived by two sons, Wayne White & wife, Kelly, of Freeport and Joel Schweitzer, of Wills Point; two daughters, Connie Sebree, of Hollister, Oklahoma and Jamye Ewen & husband, Brennon, of Tyler; brother, Jimmy White, of Marlow, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
