Jesse Lamar Brewer, Jr., affectionately known as Jake, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. Born on March 22, 1948, in Henderson, Texas, Jake's life was a testament to devotion, integrity, and the enduring bonds of family.
Jake was the beloved husband of Jan Johnson Brewer, sharing a partnership built on mutual respect and unwavering love. Together, they built a family that was always his greatest pride. He is lovingly survived by his sons, Christopher Lance Brewer and Aaron Matthew Brewer, and by his daughters-in-law, Shelby and Juliann, who each held a special place in his heart.
Jake’s legacy is deeply interwoven with the lessons and values imparted by his late parents, Jesse Brewer, Sr. and Alice Fountain Brewer. Their memory and influence were lasting sources of strength throughout Jake’s life.

A visitation to honor Jake will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home, located at 205 Corky Boyd Ave, Wills Point, TX 75169. All who knew and loved Jake are welcome to attend and share in commemorating his remarkable life.
