Jessie Elizabeth Davis, 95 of Terrell, Texas passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in Kaufman, Texas. Jessie Gatlin was born on May 4, 1927, in Millersview, Texas.

Jessie was raised in Millersview. Jessie married her husband James Davis in Irving, Texas in 1970. They were of the Baptist faith. She lived in Wills Point for 15 years. Jessie worked at Love Envelope Inc for many years and retired in 2008. Jessie loved spending time with family, cooking, yard work, gardening, and dancing.  She loved animals.

Jessie is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Deloris Mullins, Virginia Tharp, Lillie Shaw, and Wanda Barker; brothers James Gatlin, Lynn Gatlin, Eugene Gatlin, Colvin Gatlin, Calvin Gatlin, and her 2 daughters, Mary Elizabeth Ruddell and Joyce Helen Braswell.

Jessie leaves behind her daughter Lillie Hatcher; grandchildren, Sharon Paschall, Shawna Hilliard, Kelly Rener, Christina Carrigan and Kevin Ruddell; seven great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jessie Elizabeth Davis will be held Monday, January 23, 2023, at 11 am at Mullin-Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point, Texas. Family will be accepting guests one hour prior for visitation.
