Jimmie Dale Barron, of Terrell, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 21, at the age of 83.

Jimmie was born on January 22, 1938 in Georgetown, Louisiana to the late Richard and Ruth Barron.  He graduated from Jena High School in 1955 and then attended 1 year at McNeese in Lake Charles, LA. In June 1957 he enlisted in the Army and was discharged in June of 1960 in Brooklyn, NY. He married the love of his life Doris "Marie" Barron on August 5, 1961 in Durant, Oklahoma. Together they lived in Mesquite, Texas prior to moving to Wills Point, Texas in 1999. Jimmie was employed through Jack Cooper Transport as a Truck driver for 33 years retiring in 1998.

To cherish his memories, Jimmie leaves behind his beloved wife Marie Barron of Terrell; sons, Steve and Sheri Barron of Fort Worth, Tom and Lori Barron of Rowlett and Tim Barron of Plano; daughter Julie Jolley of Rockwall; grandchildren Kyle/KD Barron, Merrick Boltz, Adam Boltz, Channing Massey and Boone Massey, Alex Barron, Samantha Barron, Victoria Barron, Jared Barron, Rachel Barron, Ethan Jolley, Aidan, Jolley and Kenzie Jolley; great grandchildren, Elliot Boltz, Maylee Boltz, Gibson Massey, Stetson Massey, Carsyn Massey, Lydia Barron and Sydney Barron; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Rex, Rick and Frank Barron and sister-in-law Ginny Barron.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with family accepting guests one hour prior for visitation at Allan Fuller Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at allanfullerfuneralhome.com.
