Jimmy Garland Agnew, of Mabank, Texas, passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021, at the age of 72.

Jimmy was born on June 22, 1948 in Cordell, Oklahoma, to the late Garland and Claudia Agnew. He was raised in Dallas, Texas. Jimmy married Luanita King on August 20, 1966 in Dallas. They moved to Mabank 33 years ago from Garland. Jimmy worked at Consolidated Freight, retiring from Yellow Freight in 2010. He loved the great outdoors and spending time with his family.

To cherish his memories, Jimmy leaves behind his wife of 54 years Luanita Agnew of Mabank; daughters Rhonda England and husband Michael of Winona, Texas and Melinda Hilton and Darrell of Rockwall, Texas; brothers, Randy Agnew, Dana Agnew and Stevie Agnew; sisters, Janice Kinder, Brenda Smith, Jackie Agnew and Belinda Agnew; grandchildren, Tyler Williams, Trey Williams and Joey Hilton; great-grandchildren, Bradyn Williams and Aubrey Williams; brother in law Randle West; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents and brother Kendall Agnew.
