John Edwin Harper, 80, of Wills Point Texas passed away on May 21, 2023.

John was born on February 26, 1943 in Eugene, Oregon to Theadore Roosevelt Harper and Winona Henrietta De Freece.

He was raised in Springfield, Oregon and graduated from Springfield High School, Class of 1962. John married the love of his life, Catherine Bryson on May 4, 1969 in Springfield, Oregon.  He was of the Christian faith.  Prior to moving to Texas four years ago he lived in Oregon and Arizona.

John was a employed as a millworker where he retired in 2007. He enjoyed his time fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Steve, Jim, and Ted; one sister Mary Lou; one son James Harper.

John is survived by this wife Kay Harper and son John Harper and wife Angie.
