John Lester Morrison, 66, of Wills Point, Texas passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

John was born in Grand Saline, Texas on December 9, 1956 to William Lester Morrison and Maxine McBee.  John was raised in Wills Point and attended Wills Point High School. He married Scarlett Massey in 1982 in Edgewood, Texas. John was of the Baptist faith.

John was employed at Goggans Tire in Edgewood, Vistawall in Terrell, and later he was self-employed as a landscaper.  John enjoyed camping, racing, cooking out, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Aunt Betty Crow, and Uncle Jerry Morrison.

John is survived by his wife, Scarlett Morrison; son John Morrison, wife Crystal; daughter Misty Morrison, husband Robert Hayter; sister Tammy Portz, husband Craig; seven grandchildren: Caleb Boone, Kaylea Starr, Kandice Starr, Chloe Wilson, Lucasey Morrison, Stetson Morrison, and Wyatt Morrison.
